Trouble migrating/transferring inFlow On-Premise backup

If you’re getting the error “Something went wrong with the migration” when uploading your inFlow On-Premise database to inFlow Cloud, please ensure that your backup file name does not contain any special characters like periods and commas.

To fix this, rename your backup. It should only contain letters, numbers and/or underscores “_”.

For example:

“inFlow_Backup_20170914_1517_v352_Yummy,Food.Store.ifz”

will not properly migrate to inFlow Cloud. 

When renaming the file, remove the “,” and “.” like so:

“inFlow_Backup_20170914_1517_v352_YummyFoodStore.ifz”

Once you’ve renamed your backup file, try the migration process once again.
