How to track products out for repair

The easiest way to track your items out for repair is to create a new inventory location and use the Transfer Stock feature to move items to this location while they’re being repaired.

Creating a repair location

To create a new location for your items out for repair:

  1. Go to the inFlow Inventory settings (Main Menu>Options>Inventory.)

  3. Select Add location to create a location called “Repair” in inFlow.
  4. Click Save when done.

This method doesn’t remove the product from your inventory and will still count toward your quantity on hand while it’s out for repair. Keep this in mind when doing a stock count!
