Designing inFlow documents (Beta)

How to change the look of your inFlow documents (beta)

We’re working on an easier, faster way to design your order documents to suit your business needs.

The inFlow document designer allows you to add, remove, and rearrange the content of your printed/emailed documents, along with other styling options to better match your brand.

Please note that this feature is currently in closed beta and is limited in certain capabilities. This will change as we continue receiving feedback during the beta period.

How do I access the designer?

If you’ve been invited to join the beta already, simply head to the inFlow app. From here, click the Main Menu > Options > Orders, and you should see the document designer there. If you don’t see this and you want to participate in the beta, please contact beta@inflowinventory.com

What documents can I customize?

Currently, you can only customize a single, generic sales document. In the future, you will be able to directly customize the sales order, invoice, and credit note documents and add more documents.

For this testing period, we’re keeping it separate from your existing documents, so you don’t have to worry about it interfering with your normal workflow.

What can I change with the designer?

The designer allows you to customize a single document that you can print from a sales order. The available customizations include rearranging, removing, and adding information such as custom fields, measurements, custom text, and more. Explore the designer and let us know what you think!

What if I need more customization than what’s offered?

The document designer contains some basic styling options, but if you need something more advanced, check out the custom code block guide

How do I print/email the designed document?

When you select the Print or Email button on a sales order in the web app, the document that you created will appear at the very bottom, alongside the default inFlow documents.

Please note that printing/emailing the new design is not yet available in inFlow Cloud for Windows or Mobile.

How do I get access to the beta?

Contact beta@inflowinventory.com to be a part of the beta or if you have any questions.
