It’s December! And that means switching things up….

Happy first day of December everyone. It’s that time of year where we start thinking about holidays and warmer climates. We (like all of you) are looking forward to time off with family and friends and to coming back renewed and reinvigorated for 2016! So let’s take a little time to talk about our support schedule for this month and a few other interesting things we’ll be participating in over the coming weeks 🙂

Giving Back

For those of you who’ve been in the community for a while you probably already know about our longstanding relationship with Kiva.org. In fact, over the last six years we’ve provided over 1500 loans to small businesses and entrepreneurs in disadvantaged and remote areas. Over the years, members of both the Carta and inFlow teams have also participated in lots of charity events both on their own and in groups and it’s something we’re very proud to be a part of.

We’re also pretty keen on teambuilding (read about how food plays into that here) so this year, we’ve decided to combine our love of giving back and our penchant for teambuilding into something special. On December 10th we’ll be closing the Archon offices and heading down to FoodShare Toronto to volunteer with their team. FoodShare works with communities and volunteers to deliver healthy food and education, and works towards providing access to affordable high-quality fresh food.

We’re pretty excited for them to show us the ropes!

Year in Review

Some pretty exciting things have happened this year, and it’s always good to look back over the last 12 months and appreciate all that we’ve accomplished as a community. With inFlow v3’s first version being released late last year, we’ve been able to spend 2015 improving on something we were so proud to share with you. And you’ve helped us make it better!

FIFO and LIFO costing, serial numbers, improved ordering, direct emailing, and even our “hot off the presses” new ability to sync Shopify and Magento online sales.  These are just a few of the things we’ve been so excited to bring you over this year and we’re more excited than ever about the road ahead.

 

Housekeeping: Our Holiday Schedule

So over the next four weeks the support schedule will shift here and there to accommodate things like our company trip to FoodShare, Canadian stat holidays and reduced hours during the last week of December. With that in mind, we’ve posted the support hours below and will send out quick reminders (as always) to the Facebook Page and via Twitter to remind everyone about any closure days and how to get in touch while we’re away 🙂
