What is inFlow?

inFlow is inventory management software designed for small to mid-sized businesses.

By using inFlow, you can save time on paperwork, fulfill customer needs more accurately, and free up cash held in excess inventory.

Does inFlow work with multiple computers connected together?

Yes! You can install inFlow on multiple computers, and connect them together over a local area network (LAN) easily. See this article on how to setup inFlow in multi-user network mode.

You can also connect inFlow together over the internet, but this will require more steps to setup. See this on how to connect inFlow over the internet. Note that we don't officially offer support on setting up inFlow over the internet due to all the possible variations in your network configuration (e.g. routers, firewalls, proxies, etc.).

How much does inFlow cost?

inFlow comes in three editions: Free, Regular, and Premium.

The Free Edition is free forever - no trial period or strings attached. It contains most of the basic and useful features. We want everyone to experience how much easier life can be with inFlow. The main limitation is you can only save a combined total of 100 products and customers. Also, when used in multi-user network mode, it can only read data, but not make changes.

The Regular Edition costs $299. It has most of the features needed for average small businesses. There are no limitations on the number of products and customers, and you can read and write data in multi-user mode. However, you can only have a maximum of 5 Regular Edition computers connected.

The Premium Edition costs $499. It is the most powerful business tool for all sizes. It contains features suitable for bigger businesses, such as bill of materials, work orders, users access rights, etc. Again, there are no limitations on the number of products and customers, and you can read and write data in multi-user mode. You can also have an unlimited number of Premium Edition computers connected together.

What kind of customer support do you offer?

For the Free Edition, we offer an online forum where you can ask questions. For the Regular and Premium editions, you will also get 1 year of unlimited email support and up to 10 phone support incidents. We might start offering premium support packages for a fee in the future, but there will always remain a free online forum where you can ask questions.

How does licensing work?

The licensing of Regular and Premium edition is per-computer. 1 license of the Regular or Premium edition allows you to run it on 1 computer at once. You can install the same license on a maximum of 2 computers, but only 1 of them can be running inFlow at the same time.

Licenses can be transfered to another computer as long as you uninstall the previous one. Re-installing inFlow on the same computer with the same license is allowed.

What about future upgrades?

For major upgrades (eg. version 2.0 to 3.0), all customers who purchased within 1 year of the upgrade release will get it for free. After 1 year, you can choose whether or not to purchase future upgrades, offered at a discount.

All minor upgrades (eg. version 2.0 to 2.1) are free forever for everyone.

How can I buy inFlow?

You can buy inFlow online with your credit card or PayPal. Once the payment is processed (usually with an hour), you will receive an email with your license key. Follow the instructions there to activate your copy of inFlow and unlock the extra features.
